Combining modern lifestyle with nature
PROJECT BRIEF
What would the neighborhood be like for intelligent, creative, and friendly people? For parents and children who enjoy spending time together? It will be modern, low-rise, and green in every sense. The Cedar Quarter project of the residential complex was born in the surroundings of a forest park with walking trails and bike paths, sports equipment, and picnic areas by the river. The comfortable environment around the district directed architects to the concept of unification — people in a community and nature into the daily lives of residents.
PROJECT DETAILS
The main feature is diversity. Each neighborhood lives according to its own philosophy, and the Cedar Quarter thrives in an ecologically balanced rhythm. The low-rise construction creates coziness and allows to create a neighborhood community in which everyone will be familiar with each other, due to a smaller number of apartments. As a result, the project features four-, five-, seven-, and ten-story buildings in white with accents of green – a vibrant expression of the client’s wishes. Nature in architecture is reflected not only in green, but also in light wood decor. A reference to modernity became the dark-gray metal balcony structures that are stylish exterior contrasts.
The houses of the neighborhood were arranged along the contour of the territory to create a safe and spacious environment for the residents. The infrastructure within the neighborhood takes into account all categories of residents: children, parents, young and elderly people, and even four-legged pets. This is how playgrounds with soft and wear-resistant coatings, parking lots, recreation areas in the form of alleys and terraces on the first floors of houses and sports grounds were developed.
PROJECT OUTCOMES
The Cedar Quarter shifts the focus from traffic jams and hustle to people and nature — that’s how the team describes the final master plan and its impact on the urban environment. We are confident that our project serves as an example of combining modern lifestyle with nature, creating a warm atmosphere for creativity.
