WOOD PELLET PLANT
About
Complex factory construction project
PROJECT BRIEF
This ambitious factory construction project focused on enhancing the wood pellet plant in Latvia by adding a waste incineration plant – boiler plant with a capacity of up to 25 MW. The primary goal was to facilitate and optimize the existing production process while ensuring modern safety standards.
PROJECT DETAILS
The original project site was dedicated to the production of wood pellets, capable of processing 1,300,000 m³ of wood raw materials annually. These materials included firewood, brushwood, twigs, sawdust, and wood chips. The architectural solution involved creating new spaces to increase the overall plant capacity while maintaining a strong focus on modern safety measures.
The design and construction of the industrial buildings strictly adhered to all construction norms and safety standards for such plants. The optimization of production processes was a central aspect of the project, aimed at bolstering the clients’ profitability.
PROJECT OUTCOMES
The project successfully expanded the plant’s capacity and established modern safety standards, contributing to the overall efficiency of the wood pellet plant. The newly added waste incineration plant not only aligned with stringent safety requirements but also led to improved income generation for the client.
