To supplement the infrastructure with a new facility
PROJECT BRIEF
The infrastructure of the Ludza Gymnasium was formed even before the architects started working on the swimming pool project. There is a school building and a sports hall, comfortable walking paths, recreation areas, trees and seasonal plants on the territory. These were the limiting conditions of the project, in which our team created a new building that fit appropriately into the lively school atmosphere.
PROJECT DETAILS
The task was to combine the existing gym building with an indoor swimming pool using a corridor. So, the architects have developed a building that comprises sports functionality and bright design. The associations of creators took shape in the main visual concept: blue-gray structures in the form of bubbles and foam made the building distinguishable to simplify navigation through the external territory.
PROJECT OUTCOMES
REM PRO did not limit itself to architectural service, but implemented advanced engineering into the project. The project considers all the conditions that affect the safety of the object: the team made sure that the building materials were resistant to the aggressive environment caused by high humidity and the chemical composition of water purifiers.
