PRESIDENT CASTLE SQUARE

About

Historical renovation project

PROJECT BRIEF

Encompassing a total area of 2.3 hectares, this extensive project holds substantial historical and cultural significance, acknowledged as a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. Our team was tasked with creating a renovation project that would enhance the area while preserving its authenticity. Additionally, we were to devise an appealing landscape design incorporating generous green spaces.

PROJECT DETAILS

The square was divided into three distinct sections: a recreational area, a central square, and an entrance leading to the Old Town. The renovation project revitalized the square’s appearance, ensuring that it harmoniously coexists with the city’s overall architectural ensemble. Central to the design was the creation of recreational spaces, preservation of historical authenticity, and incorporation of abundant green areas, rendering the square more inviting and functional.

PROJECT OUTCOMES

The square’s rejuvenated appearance, coupled with the inclusion of green areas, has turned this area into a charming venue. It now offers an ideal setting for leisurely strolls and cultural events, catering to the needs and enjoyment of both the city’s residents and its visitors.
